Piping Engineer (งานวางท่อ)                                               1 Positions

Salary: 20,000-35,000 B/Month

Job Location: nearest Muang Thong Thani

Responsibilities:

>> Set up and maintain all piping items in the material-handling database from requisitioning up to construction and close out.
>> Requisitions all Piping commodities, Valves, Special items from Start up to purchasing including technical comparison.
>> Creation of all Purchase Descriptions for Piping commodities, Safety valves and Special piping items conventional and in material-handling database.
>> Defines all pipe classes (in accordance with standards and codes) based on Material Selection reports, process parameter and Mechanical Design Diagrams in time and quality as input for Plant Design / P&ID Development as well as for AutoCAD Set up and catalogue maintenance
>> Calculation of all piping components in accordance with standards and codes.
>> Acts as interface for and between Plant Design and Procurement in terms of mainly pipe classes.
>> Prepare engineering analysis of projects to include: preliminary design, calculation, life cycle cost and equipment selection.
>> Conduct surveys to gather field data.
>> Prepare technical construction specifications.
>> Review and critique proposed changes to engineering standards, codes, regulations, laws, or details.Review development plans for compliance with adopted engineering standards and good engineering practices.
>> Coordinate the activities of the design and construction teams.
>> Other duties as assigned.
>> Function as chief inspector on engineering projects.
>> Provide on-the-job training to new staff. 
 
Qualifications:

1. Male or Female, Thai nationality.
2. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical Engineer or any related field.
3. At least 3-5 years of experience within the Oil & Gas or Power Plant or Heavy Industrial (Preferably), 3 years for piping engineer.
4. Good PC knowledge and able to use AutoCAD and other engineering software.
5. Good command in spoken and written English.
